Weather Page for the Boxhill Area
In Leatherhead we have our own weather station and publish the current local weather on this page so that our pilots and customers can see what the flying conditions are like. Please see the notes below for details and limitations of the system.

NOTES
1. Look at the time to make sure that the weather station is
working - over the next few weeks the station may be down for hours at a time
although we will try to keep these periods to a minimum.
2. If you have a PDA/handheld device you can bookmark either or both of the
following pages to get only the weather data...
http://www.fraserker.com/helilessons/weather/weatherdata.png (for larger screens)
or
http://www.fraserker.com/helilessons/weather/compact.png (for smaller screens)
3. The readings are taken by the station at one minute intervals
and this page refreshes every 1 minute.
4. The windspeed is instantaneous - no average speed is available at the moment.
5. The rainfall meter does not have a particularly fine resolution and will not
measure very light rain unless it exceeds a certain value.
6. The pressure forecast is only a very rough prediction of weather tendency -
don't rely on it too much!
